My first photobook, composed by two volumes, an unconventional conversation between images and words.
Book 1 shows photographs - made between 2014 and 2017 - of the public that attends heavy rock concerts in their most different and extreme variations. Book 2 is a novella about the the relationship between a man and his son following a troubled divorce:
Miguel thought he had the answers to most of life's questions, and that he could more or less control his own destiny. After divorcing from Pedro's mother, a woman with a psychiatric disorder who tries in various ways to undermine the relationship between him and her son, Miguel has to admit that such control does not exist.
In this story of many losses, Miguel tries to maintain and enrich the things he and his son have in common, and it's the chaos of a mosh pit that gives meaning to their life at that time.
